I have extensive experience of crafting on-brand, eye-catching advertising. Below is a small selection of ads that have run in national newspapers and magazines in both the UK and Ireland including the Express, Evening Standard, The Times, The Sun, The Mirror, the Racing Post, the Irish Daily Star, the Irish Independent and the Irish Daily Mirror.

Radio Advertising
I have written many radio ads over the years that have run on national and local stations in both the UK and Ireland. For Paddy Power, this were weekly ads focusing on weekly promotions that were required to be topical, on-brand and deliver a key message regarding the proposition being offered to the customer in a way that differentiated the brand from it’s competitors. These ads have been broadcast on UK and Irish national stations as Talksport, Absolute Radio and Radio X.

For Eddie Rockets, I wrote and produced a script promoting our new lunchtime menu that ran for two months across several national and local stations such as RTE 2FM. Today FM, Spin 1038 and FM 104.

Eddie Rocket’s Snapchat Advertising
As part of strategy to win the front of mind battle among a younger demographic, the company needed to establish a presence on a platform where it could reach this audience. With our market research suggesting that the brand was performing well with an older demographic but lagging behind some new recent entrants into the competitive space when it came to a younger audience, I needed to come up with a straightforward concept that combined the mouth-watering Eddie Rockets product with a clear call to action on a hugely popular platform.

Four different ads were produced, each showcasing a product likely to resonate with a different section of the target audience: Chipotle burger, Double Take, Smokehouse and the ever popular Classic.

Cost:
circa €12k
Results: Increase of 3100% in traffic to the Eddie Rocket’s website in the first month of the campaign which in turn estimated increase of 8% on delivery orders. The volume of views also indicated a spike in brand awareness and front of find recall.
